I'm Kara and after finishing college at 20 I am over here in small town America working that 8-5 grind while balancing a new town, a new church, a new (old) house and a new husband as gracefully as I can.
I enjoy TV shows involving murder or a world crisis, a good Merlot and trying to remind (make) my husband's cat Buchanan to love me.
My hope for this blog is to share with others my experience in leaving the Evangelical church and becoming Lutheran. I will also share how I finished college in just 2 and half years with no incoming credit to save over 60,000 dollars in cost.
Oh and along the way we will look at some pretty things and maybe try a DIY project. (Let's not be all business and no fun!)
I'm Ashlyn and I am currently a Jr. in College studying Nutrition and Dietitics. I hope to move to California after graduation to pursue my Masters in Dietitics

My passions are, eating healthy, teaching others about what is really in their food, playing with puppies and taking photos.
My hope for this blog is to inspire others to be the best verision of themselves and strive for wellness. I also will be sharing products I love and use.

While we agree we probably couldn't be more different, being sisters is the best. Not only do we see and experience the world differently, have different ideas and passions we also have the opporunity to find middle ground.
